At Swift Mobile Welding, we believe in being upfront and transparent with our customers. Here’s what you need to know in simple terms:
- Quotes: We’ll give you a fair written quote before starting work. Nothing is locked in until you confirm.
- Work Start: We only start once everything is agreed (plans, quote, approvals).
- Payment: Payment is due when the job is complete unless otherwise arranged. Late payments may attract fees.
- Materials: If you supply materials, they must be of good quality. We can’t guarantee results if the materials are faulty.
- Warranty: Our workmanship comes with a 12-month warranty if used as intended.
- Liability: We’ll always do our best, but we’re not responsible for indirect losses or delays outside our control (e.g., weather, supply issues).
- Ownership: We keep ownership of goods and designs until they’re fully paid for.
- Cancellations: If you cancel after we’ve ordered materials or started work, fees may apply.
- On-Site Jobs: You need to provide safe access, power, and basic utilities when we work at your site.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services and goods provided by Swift Mobile Welding (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By engaging our services, the Customer (“you”) agrees to be bound by the following Terms.
1. Interpretation
- Swift Mobile Welding means Swift Mobile Welding and any of its authorised trading entities.
- Customer means any individual, business, or corporation requesting goods and/or services from us.
- Goods/Services include welding services, repairs, materials, hire charges, service fees, construction, fabrication, and any related supply of labour or products.
2. Terms Prevail
These Terms override any conditions provided by the Customer unless otherwise agreed in writing by an authorised representative of Swift Mobile Welding. Nothing in these Terms excludes or modifies any non-excludable rights under Australian Consumer Law.
3. Quotations
- All quotes provided are estimates only and do not constitute a binding offer.
- A job is only confirmed once accepted by us in writing, or when we commence work.
4. Commencement of Work
Work will not begin until all required approvals, drawings, and/or signed acceptance of a quote or contract are received.
- We are not responsible for misinterpretation of verbal instructions.
- Late alterations may be requested but are not guaranteed due to scheduling and material availability.
5. Payment Terms
(a) Unless otherwise agreed in writing, all invoices are payable on completion of work.
(b) If an account arrangement has been approved, payment terms will be as per invoice.
(c) Late payment may result in the withdrawal of any discounts and re-issuance of the invoice at full value.
(d) Interest of 10% per annum applies to overdue accounts until paid in full.
(e) All debt collection or legal costs incurred in recovering overdue amounts will be charged to the Customer.
(f) We reserve the right to suspend or cancel further work if payments are not made as required.
6. Customer Supplied Materials
- Customers are responsible for supplying quality raw materials, drawings, or images where required.
- Materials supplied remain at the Customer’s risk.
- Additional charges may apply for handling, correction, or storage.
- We are not responsible for defects caused by poor-quality materials provided by the Customer.
- The Customer warrants that supplied designs or drawings do not breach any third-party intellectual property rights and agrees to indemnify Swift Mobile Welding against such claims.
7. Warranties
- Our workmanship is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of completion, provided:
- The work has not been altered, mistreated, or interfered with.
- Any defect arises solely from our workmanship or supplied materials.
- All contract conditions have been complied with.
- Warranty claims must be made in writing, with defective goods returned (if applicable) at the Customer’s cost.
8. Liability
- Except as required by law, we exclude all express or implied warranties regarding suitability, merchantability, or fitness for purpose.
- We are not liable for loss, damage, or injury (including consequential loss) arising from the use of our services or products, whether due to negligence or otherwise.
9. Ownership & Title
- All intellectual property (designs, drawings, concepts) created by Swift Mobile Welding remain our property.
- Title to goods remains with Swift Mobile Welding until full payment is received.
- Until payment is made, we reserve the right to reclaim goods supplied.
10. Delivery & Deadlines
We are not liable for delays caused by industrial action, accidents, equipment failure, shortages, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control.
11. Claims
Claims for visible defects or non-compliance must be lodged in writing within 30 days of delivery or completion of work.
12. Order Cancellations
- Orders cannot be cancelled once materials have been purchased or work has commenced.
- Cancellations may attract a fee of up to 40% of the order value.
13. Sub-Contracting
We reserve the right to subcontract any part of the work where necessary.
14. Site Works
Where work is performed on-site:
- The Customer must provide safe, uninterrupted access.
- Required utilities (electricity, fuel, water, fire safety equipment, etc.) must be supplied by the Customer at no cost.
- We reserve the right to refuse or suspend on-site work if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and any disputes will be handled under the jurisdiction of Queensland courts.
